Loving God With All of You

What does it truly mean to love God? That question sits at the heart of this message, and the answer might surprise us. We often treat love as a feeling that washes over us during worship and then quietly fades by midweek. But when Yahushua quoted the ancient Shema from Deuteronomy 6, he made explicit something that had always been folded within it: the mind is not the enemy of devotion. It is a room in the house of love. The greatest commandment calls us to love God with our heart, our being, and our mind, meaning nothing is left out, nothing is held back. This is not a checklist of spiritual compartments to manage. It is an invitation to whole-person devotion, where our thinking, our feeling, and our choosing all point in the same direction. For anyone who has ever been told to check their brain at the door of faith, this message is a homecoming. God does not want a portion of us on Sunday. He wants all of us, every day, with every faculty we possess.
